3D images for prototypes
Photorealistic 3D images are a very good option to advertise prototypes. It allows the company to know which products have better market acceptance before starting production. In this case the images of the mouldings were used for this very purpose.
In order to accurately study customers’ opinions, 3D images had to be attractive and as photorealistic as possible. I did modelling, lighting, texturing and capturing of textures with the material provided by the company. AutoCAD drawings and samples of different types of wood.
The result was generally well liked and saved the company economic resources. At the same time we also saved materials and energy resources because only highly rated prototypes were manufactured, thereby obtaining a reduced environmental impact in production.
